As a Certified Holistic Nutritionist™, Reiki practitioner and life stylist, My purpose is to help you reach your full potential.
I fuelled my love for food while living throughout the Mediterranean and witnessing first hand the importance of natural, sustainable, and whole foods. While living in Italy, the birthplace of the Slow Food movement, I discovered the magic of eating real food, direct from the source. During this time I was suffering from digestive issues, acne, and low energy. I took matters into my own hands and switched to a vegan diet. I cut out all meat and dairy and replaced it with glutenous grains and fake meat. I thought I was on the right path, After all I was eating more fruits and vegetables, right? Turns out I was eating too much fruit, too little fat, and supplementing a balanced diet with refined grains. For a while I felt better and had lost weight --which, let's be real, was a massive motivator for me. But as time went on I got sicker and sicker and my acne got worse. A doctor even diagnosed me with acne, rosacea, and eczema all at once. It was like I was hiding behind a grotesque mask.
It turns out I was.
I was in a job that I hated and eating a diet that was destroying my body from the inside out. Once I came to this awakening the mask started to fall off. I began to focus my intent on repairing my body, listening to my intuition, and massive amounts of energy work. By embracing my authenticity, fragments of the negative crumbled around me. My true self began to breakthrough. It was raw, real and not at all easy. Everyday I learn something new about myself and continue to grow.
My diet is now full of healthy fats, ferments and medicinal fungi. I supplement as little as possible and prefer to get my nutrients from real food. I keep my meals classic, wholesome, and seasonal. I incorporate as much wild food as I can and believe in supporting my local farmers and growers.
My years in the fashion industry left me wanting more for my clients and for myself. My life in Italy not only taught me about the importance of slow food but also of slow fashion. They're ethos directly mirrored mine: to support local businesses and sustainability and the emphasis of quality and natural fibres. I realized that it isn't about the accumulation of 'stuff' but about cultivating an image that reflects creativity, divinity, and the whole Self.
I allow for freedom of movement in all my clothing and don't limit myself to fleeting trends. I am most inspired by the artists and visionaries in my community and I support small shops both online and in my city. What to know more?
